Mercure Biel

Very kind and helpful staff, coffee machine in the Reception area (free of charge) and very good breakfast. My single room was nicely decorated and very comfortable and functional with all the necessary facilities, although a bit dark, as the window was a bit small. The hotel is located close to the shopping area and the old town of Biel.

Modern and functional, good window soundproofing, close to the commercial area and the old town, within easy reach of station (several bus lines nearby). Front desk was kind enough to let me have a room early (with an upgrade) to store my things while I went hiking in the hills.

Very clean and newly arranged. The hotel is very close to premium restaurants, most interesting places (including OMEGA museum) are in walking distance. Very friendly staff, very nice breakfast.

Staff very friendly and multilingual. Breakfast was best Ive had on the continent and was consistently delicious. Very near platz so easy walk to all the cafes and shops. And they had two elevators which is a rare luxury!

Had again a weekend in Biel to visit friends and carneval. The stay at Mercure made it great. A friendly Welcome, nice rooms and a delicious breakfast. Simply my favourite hotel in town.
